Dear Parents,
Hello, my name is Ms. Hodock and I will be interning in your child’s class until the end of April with Mrs. Larkin. As part of my educational program at the University of South Florida in St. Petersburg, I am required to complete a full semester of internship in a Pinellas County School.
I will be learning exciting and effective teaching techniques that will benefit your child’s education. I will strive to teach interesting and motivating lessons that will enable your child to be creative and to learn in new ways. I am excited to be completing my third and final internship at Ponce de Leon Elementary School.
Please feel free to contact me through your child’s agenda if you have any questions or concerns. I am looking forward to a successful student teaching experience working with your child.
Throughout my internship in your child’s class, I will be videotaping and taking photographs of myself teaching and working with students. All videos will be reviewed by me and my cooperating teacher. If I include your child’s picture in my portfolio, I want to have your permission first. There will be no videos or pictures of students used on the internet.
